Admissions
Veterans Affairs Community Care Network (VA-CCN)
October Road is a proud member of the Veterans Affairs Community Care Network (VA-CCN).
The VA-CCN is comprised of facilities that are approved to accept veteran benefits for behavioral health treatment, giving vets more timely and convenient access to care. The Community Care Network (CCN) uses industry-standard guidelines to administer treatment and pay for services.
To use your benefits through the VA-CCN, you will need to secure both an authorization from the VA and a doctor’s referral. Most people get these by visiting their home county VA office to meet with a primary care doctor. Talk to your doctor about getting a referral to access the CCN for outpatient treatment at October Road.
At October Road, we make it a priority to get veterans the mental health or substance use treatment they need and deserve. Our admissions specialists have expertise in navigating the VA-CCN system and extensive experience in working with veterans and the VA. If you require assistance with any part of the process or have questions, reach out to the admissions team at October Road.
It can feel overwhelming or frustrating to navigate the VA to access your benefits when you’re ready to take the next step in your recovery journey. Please contact our admissions team if you’re a veteran who is not signed up for VA benefits or who needs assistance in accessing the CCN system.
Not all veterans are eligible for coverage via the VA-CCN, unfortunately. October Road is in-network with most commercial insurance and accepts Medicaid VAYA and self-pay.
