ASHEVILLE, NC – Pyramid Healthcare’s North Carolina subsidiary since 2012, October Road, Inc., announced today the opening of October Road’s new Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) for adults located in Asheville, North Carolina in August 2020.
October Road will fulfill a need within the community for additional, effective opioid treatment programming as part of the organization’s overall mission to make substance use and mental health treatment services more accessible and convenient to adult residents of western North Carolina.
This is October Road’s first Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) in Asheville that provides comprehensive, outpatient care for adults by addressing both the physical and emotional/psychological aspects of opioid addiction. October Road believes that a combination of medication, education and therapy based on the patient’s individual clinical needs is the most effective method of treatment for fulfilling, long-term recovery. Services include group support, individual assessments and therapy, medication management, educational lectures, family programming, individualized treatment planning, and case management.

October Road also offers varying levels of outpatient mental health and substance use in-person and telehealth treatment programming for adults in Asheville at 119 Tunnel Road, Suite D.
The new Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) is located in the October Road Treatment Center at 119 Tunnel Road, Suite E in Asheville, NC 28805.
